Studio 117 was created as a private extension of Family Wellness & Physio — a boutique movement space for women who are thinking long-term. This is not general fitness. It is intentional strength training for women who want to age in place with stability, confidence, and clarity. Not just active. Independent.

Midlife is not a decline to manage. It is a transition to prepare for. The women who gather here are thoughtful and accomplished — teachers, healthcare professionals, small business owners,  and mothers. They lead well. They also understand that independence is not accidental.

Most classes are taught by Dr. Julie Ross, PT, DPT. We also partner with experienced instructors in yoga and strength who align with our philosophy of longevity-driven training. While not every instructor is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, all programming is developed and reviewed within a clinical framework to ensure progression, joint protection, and long-term sustainability. The environment is welcoming. The standards are high.
